I am officially retired from even my part time work. I have taken up selling on eBay as a way of downsizing my possessions and collections from the past 50+ years, as well as any other items I can lay my hands on. This is a hobby for me as most things I have are not of great value, but something another person might enjoy. I chose to do this for the better things I own, rather than giving them to the thrift stores, as I have done in the past. Some money is better than no money I always say. I am enjoying the thrill of the sale! I have enough stock to do me for a very long time, although I am getting assistance from my eldest daughter; she is the one who packs everything so well. My store name was chosen from a nickname I was given several years ago, which fits me perfectly. And the fact that a lot of my items were saved from going to a landfill during one of my previous businesses. One persons trash is another persons treasure!
