  Excellent pics, careful packaging and prompt shipping and a downright low price of a Starrett 230 one - inch micrometer with the lock-nut around the spindle at the front of the frame, as on a 226 make for a happy buyer. AND the faint traces of rust that shoed in the pics wiped off perfectly with a very light rub with the finest steel wool, so it now looks as if it was new-in-box, and I mean that quite literally--the best 230 with locknut that I have ever seen, a real treasure ! !
