I purchased this for a very special person’s birthday and when they received it, they were not able to use the phone because the Verizon store representative said it was not unlocked. So, now I need to return it. I’m very upset because I’ve bought phones from eBay before and never had an issue but the one time I buy one for someone else there was an issue and it’s embarrassing.

You didn't purchase a Verizon phone. Verizon is a CDMA network and may or may not work with all unlocked phones (they are mostly GSM). We also sent you a message explaining this before we ship the item but you decided not to respond to our message so we assume that you are not using it with a CDMA network and its good to be sent. We are offering free return if you would like to return the phone, but it was not our fault
