He recommended sizing down because they run large. I also normally wear a 9.5 and so I ordered his recommended size (42 Euro, size 8 US according to Mephisto) and he was right on the money. Had I ordered from anyone else it would have taken a lot longer to get the correct size considering I would've had to return the first pair. Thanks!
