  This set of mic clips allows for a lightweight and flexible setup. I have a 300mm x 20mm carbon fiber tube to use with them. The preset angles allow for standard stereo configurations, such as A/B, ORTF, & NOS. You could also do A/B + ORTF or NOS if you wanted. However, you would have to select an appropriate lyre on your shockmount. A pair of 72 shore lyres allows a lot of twisting, so I may experiment with other single or dual lyres. All of the clips securely hold the tube and mics.

  I’m very pleased with this mount. I have mine on an SRS RB-A shock mount with a pair of Rycote 72 shore lyres. With the end of the CM-4 flush to the rear of the clip gives maximum length for attaching windscreens and maintaining 17cm spacing at 110 degrees. I had a set of low profile XLR cables made by Redco, but a standard XLR would work due to the vertical offset. I love how easy it is to insert and remove the cm4 mic and they stay firmly in place.

  Excellent quality. So small and light. I love how the shape of the Rycote lyre base fits perfectly into an indent on the top surface of the mount. Looking forward to using this! Wrench and socket head machine screws included.
