  While they packages appear new, I understand the item is 30 years old. I opened up the package and found that the magnets literally disintegrated and it spread a fine black powder over everything. I also opened up the battery compartments and found all of the batteries exploded. These items are useless. The corrosion screwed up the entire internal circuitry there’s absolutely no use to these and were definitely not taken care of.
