The seller and I spent a good deal of time discussing the issue, but he refused to acknowledge that it would not be possible to install a hard plastic item that measured 10 1/2" into a space that measured only 10 1/4". He refused to give me a refund. I would caution people who are considering the purchase of replacement parts for older items to buy directly from original manufacturers, preferably with local storefronts.

The electronics are really ok with water as long as when they re-activate, they are dry. The printer is now printing perfectly! I have refurbished 6 of these printers as they are the best printer product put out by HP--Thanks!
