  Surplus Alberta (seller) handled damage otherwise not-described in the listing very well; they offered me the opportunity to receive the original item (damaged) and a second functionally similar unit they were selling free of charge. I think this was a very generous solution and it left me with at least one working unit. I would order from them again in the future.
