I wanted to do something that was unique and something he could be proud to show off. This kit checked all the boxes and I have the perfect 6498 movement for it. When I opened the contents of the package I was impressed with the care taken to make sure nothing would arrive damaged. I look forward to putting this together!

Just built it and I can't stop staring at it. The dial comes in a plastic case with a support so it doesn't wobble or touch any of the interior, protecting against impact and dust. Hands come in their own containers, so they don't scratch each other. It is so well taken care, and even the shipping costs are truly worth it. This was the first of many purchases!
