Why buy new when old will do? For me it’s because beautiful items were meant to be used and appreciated; not sit around in boxes! Because I love to think about an item's history. I like to think about what the person was like who owned it. Was it special to them? On some things you can see the fingerprints or the brush strokes of an artist that lived over 100 years ago and I almost feel like a know them. What is your “because”?
