Terry South has been drawing airplanes since he was old enough to hold a pencil. After working as an Air traffic Controller at Chicago ARTCC for 31 years, Terry is now happily retired and living in Dixon, Illinois with his wife Kristie and persuing his passions of art, travel, and riding motorcycles.
Terry's art work begins with WWII military aircraft and extends to those of the modern day. All of Terry's original drawings are done in pencil, and in most cases the lithographs are signed by the pilots.
Terry has been issuing limited edition aviation lithographs since 1988, and drawing both print and book remarques since 1989. All lithographs are printed on heavy acid-free stock, are signed by the artist, and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Commisioned book remarques are available on request. Terry can draw a remarque drawing of any subject in or on almost anything. A remarque can also be added to any print that you purchase from Terry. Contact
My favorite motorcycle drawn in an action mode! The artist did a great job capturing the bike at the ride angle and the result is fantastic. Will be getting it framed and hung for all to see. Well done!
