The Angry Lotus is my little online shop that specializes in dānměi merchandise. Dānměi is a genre of literature and other fictional media originating from China that features romantic relationships between male characters. Dānměi is typically created by, and targeted towards a heterosexual female audience.
How did I discover this genre? I was teaching English in China when COVID struck. I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands and nothing to do but search on the internet and wanted to know who the dude with the headband I always saw on Taobao was and down that rabbit hole I went.

    Such a cute Legend of Exorcism pin! Most merch I find is MDZS or TGCF. This was the first one I've been able to find for this series! I appreciate the seller's response time and shipping time. The packaging was well put together and had extra little goodies of danmei cards! It was a great value and more than described with what I received!
