  Actually, the unit was working. It's just that the dial lamps are wired in series, like an old string of Christmas tree lights. When one burns out, non of the rest will light up. As to condition, it was in better shape than I expected. Controls that need cleaning and a little hum that needs to be looked into is all that is wrong with it. Well packaged and shipped very quickly and at a good price, I just wish more would have been wrong, as I do love to work on vintage receivers. Oh well.
