    This is a really nice small axe. The workmanship on the axe head is superb, and the handle is nice straight grained hickory with tight growth rings. It seems that most hatchets handles are a little too short. This one fills a need between a full size axe and a too short hatchet. I highly recommend this axe and this seller!
