I am a qualified engineer and I spent many years manufacturing and testing electronic circuit boards and assemblies. My experience helps me diagnose, repair and refurbish most non functioning laptops. I focus on Thinkpads because in my opinion they are robust, well designed and well documented. IBM / Lenovo Thinkpads are often the choice of laptop for large companies and organisations worldwide and I used these innovative machines on a daily basis. I buy broken laptops from many sources and it is my ambition and passion to restore them to their former glory and save them from landfill or incineration. A refurbished Thinkpad represents a very realistic alternative to a modern laptop for an affordable and sensible price. My laptops are not the cheapest on Ebay but my prices reflect the amount of work that has been conscientiously carried out - including fan / heatsink cleaning and thermal paste replacement. Note: If you need a different OS installed - just ask me !

    Excellent laptop with all the connections I really needed to transfer old Mini dv tapes. Real happy with the item. It's in very good condition and I'm happy to recommend Steven and his other laptops to everyone. He is a great eBay seller with good communication and willing to resolve any issues promptly.
