  Unfortunately the item has what looks like brown rusting marks on several areas along the pole, yet I did not purchase a 'seconds' (which was a product option at the time of ordering). . Not the strongest pole at length; I needed this for lightweight voiles and purchased a rod length wider than needed to ensure stability when extended, yet there was still distinct sagging & the rod felt unstable & flimsy. Short lengths may work better, but the longer extensions not so much.

  We are ever so sorry the item has arrived in this way. The customer has made no communication with us to advise of any issues at all with there order. If the customer did so then we would be more then happy to sort the issue. I is recommended that a centre support is used with these larger rods to prevent the item from sagging, this is advised on the listing in multiple places. W also do not recommend that you get a larger rod then needed. This does not give more support, it makes the rod weaker
