  The item is new old stock. They are no longer manufactured and the contents have expired. The drum is stripped, toner chunky and attached foam rubber and seals crumbling. Not the seller’s problem and I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. The copier this drum goes into is no longer supported by Canon and has become E-Waste. Canon support nonexistent and there is no replacement from the manufacturer

  I cannot stress enough items sold as new in soft boxes should be shipped in a second box protectively. While I wasn’t buying this item as a collector, the condition of the boxes matter to them. But otherwise satisfied with purchase.
