  I had a pump like this and it lasted six or seven years. Prior to that I couldn’t get one to last over two. This is a very high-quality pump. I never lube it up at the end of the season or whatever. I just make sure it doesn’t sit where it freezes. They cost a little more, but are well worth it. Original equipment is junk. It took a few extra days to get here, may have been the United States Postal Service. Seller never responded to my question, but it arrived and it was in good shape
