  The 120 VAC power line voltmeter was received as advertised, externally. Upon inspection internally, the meter was quite dirty, typical for used equipment. A serious problem was identified by black carbon soot on the interior cabinet wall around the larger shunt resistor, which gets hot during normal operation. This resistor was pressed down on the fiber insulator of the terminal strip it was soldered to, causing this insulator to burn, but only on the surface. Cleaned and calibrated — done
