  The perfect size for our needs, only 2 of us. A lovely cooking vessel that has fulfilled my desire for a clay pot, especially for Mexican Rice. I love the fact that this is handmade in Mexico and that is very unique and authentic from people that actually put their personal artistry into real clay from our earth! Very special to have in our home and I am anxious to season and start using as often as possible. Great beauty and quality. A lovely 5 *****transaction

  Lovely, the lid is what really got my attention because of how it's made. It is larger than the opening of the pot, therefore when cooking your beans, water will not escape so quickly. To me that is an extra asset for a handmade clay cooking vessel. I do have another, but it came without a lid and that is a problem using another lid that does not fit properly. A wonderful transaction from a great seller that packs very well for such a fragile item. A 5*****
