  While the transparent skin doesn't reach around the sides of the New 3DS XL, it does cover the top and bottom which was vital for my purposes to protect the console from wear and tear going into my charging dock.

  if one is looking to go thee extra mile in protecting their 3ds then this is worth it, i got these to use with 3d printed covers to stop abrasion wearing at my 3ds's plates, having many covers and swapping on the regular it definitely helps ^^b
