By far better than the generic I've been using for years. Ice now tastes like ice and water like water.
I started out using this name brand water filter when I first purchased my refrigerator. I continued using it for the next 9 years. However, in the last few years, I started buying the generic because it is cheaper. However, with the generic, regardless which kind it was, the ice ALWAYS tasted funny. My kids were the ones who first noted that taste but I ignored it and kept buying the generic.
Well, last month when the sensor light turned yellow indicating it was time to change the filter again, I was back shopping for a water filter and happened to find the brand name at a reasonable price. I grabbed it. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I emptied the ice bucket like I always do when I change my filter and could not believe it. The ice tastes like ice is supposed to taste, tasteless. Unlike how it's been tasting for years, rubber flavor type taste. I am extremely happy that I'm back to my senses. I will DEFINITELY stick to the name brand. Paying more money is worth it. I will stick to the name brand going forward.

This book will provide you with the best information for college search.
I had the 2009 edition and needed to update. There are far more information in this edition. This book is a must have for any one heading to college because it gives you a clear picture of what individual colleges are looking for. It ranks the colleges on critical factors to assist you in selecting one that suits you. The selections also provides a clear comparison of the colleges ranked in certain categories such as, how selective, acceptance rate, what scores they're looking for, GPA, class standing, how much financial aid/merit award you can expect, graduation/retention rate, student body, ethnicity makeup, tuition, cheapest/priciest, application fee, best value for your money, religious affiliation, etc.
You're also provided with the index to majors which is wonderful because it was easy for my family and I to go through those majors of interest to see what colleges offered either those or similar majors. For me, this was one of the best indexes in the book. Northern Michigan University offers Carpenter (I didn't know this was a 4yr major):-) and it's the only school that offers it.
This book is also indexed by which colleges offer undergraduate to Ph.D. programs and if you're looking for schools only in your region. Or it could be you're looking at national universities, national liberal arts colleges, regional universities/colleges and their rankings. It provides information on schools what accept early, regular, late applications with deadlines. I could go on and on. Basically, this book gives you just about everything you need to know about the college before applying.

Way too big. This will only fit if you have a big man's hand. The thumb may not even fit a big man.
This wrist band does not work at all. It seems to be made for a man with a BIG hand. The measurement is not proportionate. Everything is big about it except for the tip where your thumb comes out. So, in that case, the man with the big hand will probably not be able to fit his thumb through it. The rest of it is humongous.
