  I have installed this in a superlux 102 active ribbon microphone ....I have taken out the active preamp and the original transformer i used the fab transformer on its own ...There is no need for me to use the active preamp now as the fab transformer has plenty of gain ...To the sound of the microphone ...all I can say is wow ...what an improvement...sounds totally diffrent ...more open ...clean ...low end is sweeter than ever ...will I buy another 1 for my other microphones ...1000000%
