Great little bird feeder! Didn't come with instructions, but it's easy enough to work out.

Tidy, compact, good sound
One of the most recent of Sony's Walkman line, this is a great machine. It's not feature-laden, it doesn't have Dolby NR or Chrome / Metal tape selection (or, of course, a radio) and it's hard to see why the speed control was a worthwhile addition, but to just plug in a tape and play, it's spot on.
The aluminium casing is just a little bigger than the tape itself, the controls are easy to use and the remote is tidy and un-fussy. There are EQ settings and it has autoreverse and generally it's very simple to use.
It comes with a Sony gumstick battery, which keeps the size down, but to extend battery life it also has a screw-on AA battery holder, which increases playing time to something like 34 hours, according to the manual. Where possible, try and buy one with a Ni-MH (orange stripe) rather than Ni-Cad (green stripe) gumstick battery, they're higher capacity and won't have the Ni-Cad "memory effect" after a few charges.

Excellent alt-electro-pop
I've been looking for this for ages after lending my copy to an ex-girlfriend.
It's a lovely slice of 90s alternative electric pop, without sounding cheesy or samey. If you like Sneaker Pimps, Garbage, Portishead, that kind of thing, you'll like this. My highlights are "Look Who's Perfect Now", energetic and guitar-driven, and "Flow", gorgeous moody electronic mellowness.
