Apple makes a great product
Apple makes a good product. It is perfect now. In my experience, it will last about one year of use and then will fray at the joint where the wire meets the plastic earpiece.

They don't make 'em like they used to
While this item is slightly more sturdy and better made than the usual "Made in China" barrettes of this type, it still is not as well made as they used to be in the old days. Don't expect it to be really sturdy like the old ones. It's just slightly better than the ones made in China.
