Great kits, but beware...
These are some of the best kits ever released in 1/12th scale and are accurate in most every dimension. The earliest kits (1988 - 1995) are considered better quality and are easily identified by the orange plastic body, the later kits were molded in softer, thinner white plastic and after being produced nearly continuously since 1988 the molds are starting to wear out and later kits need a lot of work to fix waviness and sink marks. Beware of sellers offering "original issue" early kits with white plastic bodies, they are selling reboxed late production $50 kits and passing them off as the superior original issue kits to make an extra $30+....
