Awesome Ferrari Sports Watch!
This is one of the coolest looking Digital Sports watches around. First of all, it's a Ferrari! How awesome is that? Scuderia means "Stable" in Italian, and Forza means "Let's Go." So the name of this watch translates to "Let's Go, Team Ferrari." It looks like it would be right at home on the wrist of a Ferrari Formula One Race car driver! Secondly, it's got an all digital face, which is really the only way to go with a Chronograph if you're actually going to use it to time sports events. The readout is precise and there's no guessing like with tiny, unreadable Analog sub dials.
It has a 99 min stopwatch with hundredths of a sec, and lap timer. Also, it has a countdown timer (up to 24 hrs.), second time zone and alarm. The watch is easy to use, and the layout is logically arranged. One issue is that although it looks cool and hides the "digitalness"of the face, the reversed numbers on the black background may be a little hard to read indoors or in low light. It does however have a light blue back light, but it would be nice to be able to switch to standard black letters on white background.
This watch is lightweight plastic and although it sits pretty tall on the wrist, it's a good size that is not too big. About 44 mm diameter. The plastic is a hi-gloss, hard, polycarbonate plastic like used in glasses frames. It's higher quality than the soft textured plastic found in most watches, and could be mistaken for PVD on steel. But it does show finger prints. The buttons, case back and buckle are metal. It has a 3 year battery life on a Lithium cell.
Overall, it's a great, more stylish alternative to Casios for about the price of the G-Shocks you see everywhere. It looks like a much more expensive watch, but you don't have to worry about babying it.
