I could have done better than this!
Oh dear. Mr Tait appears to be well meaning, and yes this is a book from some time ago, but really, he could have made much more of an effort than he has done. Many of the photos have been seen before so no major research or new material and much of what should be a simple before and after photo, is ruined by idiocy such as a before shot looking down western approach and the afters hot, instead of the same view, very easy to achieve he turns left 45 degrees and takes a snap of the hotel instead, completely ruining the juxtaposition. There is no new info here at all. Each page is punctuated with a bit of comment in short sentences and the text does not flow. I really and honestly could do better than this. However not to be put off, I will buy another, more recent, of his books and give it one more go. Chris Robinson he is certainly not.

do NOT buy this item, it is the cheapest quality you can get and is utter rubbish, flimsy and badly put together
