Doesn't shut off when cold supply is interrupted.
Rubbermaid Commercial, who makes this valve, must have a quality control problem. I've tried 2 of these. The second one came directly from Rubbermaid. To prevent the possibility of scalding, the valve is supposed to stop the hot water flow if the cold water is shut off. Neither valve completely shut off the flow. The first one didn't even seem to slow the hot water flow. The second one slowed the flow, but did not stop it. Since the hot water did not shut off, the water temperature eventually exceeded 120 degrees F. The valves are not supposed to allow greater than 120 degrees. With the defect, the valves do not meet the ANSI standards that they claim. Aside from this safety exposure, the valve seems to work fine in maintaining a consistent temperature, as long as cold water is not interrupted.

Okay, but you MUST fix the flawed interior vinyl tube...
...otherwise, it will leak and ruin your cabinet, floor and any ceiling below! Google "leaking insinkerator sst" before installing. Really. Please. Use high temperature, food grade silicone tubing to replace the vinyl. Which, obviously, is what Insinkerator should have used in the first place.

Bent tabs impact initial fit and (probably) durability
I was initially unable to get this battery to fit in my HP Pavilion laptop. I eventually discovered that the 4 little tabs were bent. It was not clear whether they were molded this way or somehow bent later. I'm pretty sure it did not occur during shipping and probably happened somewhere in the manufacturing process. I was able to bend the tabs straight and get the battery to fit. However, I am concerned that the stress of bending these small plastic tabs will ultimately cause them to break and the battery will no longer stay in the laptop. The price was good and it seems to work, so I guess I recommend it...with reservations. Maybe contact the seller first and ask that they ensure that the tabs are straight before shipping.
