Don't bother!

The S7 screen has a slight curve on it towards the edge and therefore the glass protector has to finish short of the even edge. As a consequence the edge of the protector can be felt under one's finger as it traces across the screen and it is exposed to knocks and damage. Indeed, the first one I fitted developed a creak emanating from the edge notwithstanding there having been no physical trauma to the edge.
The second one fared little better insofar as it was lifting all around the edges.
These are a nice idea and the ones I had for my S5 were brilliant but they are to be avoided for the S7.
I experimented with a number of flexible film protectors and after a good deal of disappointment settled for the more expensive Yootech which is about as good as the design of the screen will allow.

Actually works!
Since getting my new Samsung S7 I have tried a number of different screen protectors, both the glass type and various films.
Given that the S7 has a slight curve at the screen edges the glass protectors tend to be smaller than the screen area and those which do cover the whole area do not adhere to the screen at the edges.
I then figured a film protector was the answer but so many appear to be poor quality either stopping short off the screen edge or peeling after being in situ for a little while.
In frustration and after quite a bit of Googling I decided to spend a bit more and purchased a three pack of Yootech protectors and very glad I did.
Assuming you spend time to get the alignment right first time the result is outstanding and the protector is barely visible.

Just like real telly
Having removed the disc from it's case I put it in my doovde player, pressed play and it played. It was just like watching telly.
