BMW E30 Cabrio *(and MTechnic)
I have had half a dozen E30 (BMW 3 Series 1987 through 1993 noting that in 1993 the E36 was introduced also.
This is the best of all worlds, or so I think. Enough room, sporty, great fuel economy running around 25mpg, a good sized rear seat and trunk, and sufficient power to do the job even with automatic transmission. It is among the best buys for your money as well. Parts and service are not a problem. Between Ebay and a good local mechanic you should be fine.
